FRIDAY APRIL 30th

Time: 3pm
Archaeological Walk with Michael Gibbons to the Shell Midden that has been carbon dated as 4500-6500 years old.
Call 087 2332938 to pre-book. Meeting at the Renvyle Beach Car Park

Time: 8pm
Tom Kenny will officially open the Festival
and Art Exhibition at 8pm in the Maol Reidh Hotel.
There will also be a wine tasting with wines sponsored by J & C Kenny.

Time: 9:45pm
J M Synge’s The Aran Islands: A Dramatic Recital for Two Voices,
performed by Tegolin Knowland and Sean Coyne.
Adapted and Directed by Eamon Grennan.
Maol Reidh Hotel. 

Nightly Entertainment:
Kevin Barry and Friends in the Angler’s Rest Pub from 6:30 to 9:30pm

Emma O’Sullivan and John O’Halloran in Paddy Coyne’s Pub
from 8:30 to 10:30pm

Disco in Ros’ Bar from 10pm

Killary Mussels are served in the local pubs all weekend.

 

SATURDAY MAY 1st

organised by Aquinas College in lieu with Graine Maoil C.L.G.

SUNDAY MAY 2nd

Time: 10:30am
A two-hour guided walk along the stunning Killary, where Mussels are sourced – through the Famine Village and Devil’s Gap with an outdoor Mussel lunch. Pre-booking essential! Meeting point Rossroe Pier.

Country Market in the Marquee.
Seafood, home-baked goods, jams and preserves, cheese, pottery,
and other locally and regionally produced foods and crafts.
